Start with a field. End up with a holiday park.
You inherit a small pot of money, just enough to purchase an empty field in Somerset. Build a path from the road, plumb in a toilet, paint some pitches and open the gate. The first guests turn up within a few minutes. What happens next depends on the toilets.

Build, Place, Make, Do
Pitch it, plumb it, open the gate
Paint tent and touring pitches, run water and waste pipes, and put a tap close enough that nobody has to walk the length of the field with a kettle. Guests book, drive in, and tell you exactly what they think.
Grow from Muddy Field upwards
Five park grades. Each one unlocks more: hardstanding pitches, static caravans from a seventies classic to a modern lodge-style model, timber decking, glamping pods, better entrance gates. Upgrades stay out of reach until you've earned the grade and the money.
Give them something to do
Play park, mini golf, bowling green, BBQ pits, fire pits, go-karts and kites. Stock the shop and the chip shop, set your prices, and watch what sells.
Then the weather turns
Day and night, rain, storms, heatwaves and the odd flood. Cows wander in through gaps in the fence. A banner plane flies over. The toilets break at the worst possible moment.
Barnaby has notes
A stray ginger cat from next door. He explains the game, points out your mistakes, and is usually right. These are real lines from the demo.
Fencing the perimeter keeps foxes and cows out. Those cows are not paying guests. I've checked.
