Who we are
M White, trading as INLine Computers and publishing games as INLine‑Games.uk, is the data controller for this website and the Happy Pitch Tycoon demo. We are a sole trader based in Somerset, UK, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZC094016). For questions or requests about your data, email [email protected].
The short version
- We don't ask for your name, email or any account to play.
- Your saved park and game settings stay in your browser. The game has no player accounts or in-game chat.
- Optional Google Analytics only loads after you choose "13 or older" and then allow analytics. Choosing "Under 13", "Prefer not to say", continuing without analytics, or making no choice keeps analytics off.
- Loading a page still sends the technical information needed to deliver it to our hosting provider. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
- You can change your mind at any time with (also in every page footer).
Playing and saving your park
The demo stores your park, preferences and tutorial progress on your device using browser storage. We do not upload your saved park. You can remove this information through the game's reset options or your browser's site-data settings. Clearing all site data will also remove your saved parks and privacy choices.
Website delivery and security
Our hosting provider receives technical information such as your IP address, requested page, request time and browser information when it delivers the website and game. It may keep access or error logs. We use necessary technical information to operate the site, investigate faults and protect it from abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website, taking account of visitors' rights, including children's rights.
Technical logs should be kept only as long as needed for fault investigation, security or a specific legal obligation. They are not used by us for advertising or to build player profiles.
Analytics (only with your consent)
We first offer a choice of "Under 13", "13 or older" or "Prefer not to say". Only visitors who choose "13 or older" can then allow optional analytics. Everyone can use the site and play without analytics. Your age-group answer stays in browser storage; we do not send it to Google or include age-choice button clicks in our game analytics. We do not ask for a date of birth or an identity document.
If you then allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find the site and how far they get in the demo. It records:
- On the website: pages viewed, referral information, approximate location derived from your internet connection (such as country, region or town), device type, browser, and clicks on Play and Discord links. The Analytics account also enables automatic events for scrolling, outbound links, site searches, form interactions, video engagement and file downloads, where those features are present.
- In the demo: game events such as starting a park, building, painting zones, tutorial steps, opening the park, the first guest arriving and in-game days reached, plus active and total play time, and whether the demo is running on this site or embedded on another (such as itch.io).
Analytics uses browser identifiers to distinguish visits. Our game events do not include your typed park name or message text. Google signals and advertising features are switched off in our tracking configuration. We do not use this information for targeted advertising or decisions about individual players. Our lawful basis for optional analytics is your consent; playing the demo does not depend on accepting it.
The Analytics account retains event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. The user-data period restarts when that browser returns with analytics enabled. Google's standard aggregated reports can remain available for longer. Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. Contact us if you want to request deletion.
Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process analytics data. Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Its privacy policy explains its international transfer safeguards, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Choosing "Continue without analytics", "Under 13" or "Prefer not to say", or withdrawing consent later, switches Analytics off, removes our local game analytics and deletes the Google Analytics cookies on this site. Your game saves remain available. Website and demo tabs on the same origin share the choice. On an embedded or separately hosted copy of the demo, browser privacy choices and storage may be separate.
Use Cookie settings or the demo's Analytics option to review your choice or correct your age-group answer. Changing the answer never enables analytics automatically; choosing "13 or older" requires a separate analytics decision. Older analytics acceptance without an age-group answer is reset, and we ask again.
YouTube video
The gameplay video on the home page does not load from YouTube until you press play. Playing it loads an embedded player from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube then receives technical information, including your IP address and browser information, and may use browser storage. Privacy-enhanced mode does not make watching anonymous. See Google's privacy policy. You can play the demo without watching the video.
Email and support enquiries
Game enquiries sent to [email protected] are handled by INLine Computers. We receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and attachments. We use them to answer your enquiry, investigate a reported problem and keep any necessary support records. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and supporting the game; a legal obligation may apply to particular records.
Our email provider processes messages to deliver and store them. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and any related follow-up, complaint or legal requirement, then delete it. Sending a support email does not subscribe you to marketing. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal information, especially in screenshots.
The INLine Computers privacy policy gives additional information about general business communications and that separate website. This notice describes the game website and demo; the other website's advertising and cookie arrangements do not apply here.
Discord and other websites
Discord and itch.io are separate services with their own privacy policies and age rules. Visiting them is optional. They process information under their own policies, including Discord's privacy policy and itch.io's privacy policy. Comments and messages you share with us there may also be used to respond to feedback and investigate bugs.
Children and families
Happy Pitch Tycoon is a general-audience game that may appeal to children. We use the same privacy defaults for everyone: optional analytics starts off, and there are no player accounts, in-game chat, targeted advertising or requests for precise location. The privacy prompt asks only for an age group; it is a self-declaration, not verified proof of age. We do not enable analytics when someone chooses "Under 13" or "Prefer not to say", and we do not offer a parental analytics opt-in for under-13s.
In plain language: you can play without telling us your name or sharing your age. Your saved park stays on your device. If you are under 13, choose "Under 13" and analytics will stay off. If you would rather not answer, choose "Prefer not to say". If an analytics choice is unclear, choose "Continue without analytics" or ask a parent or carer for help. You do not need to join Discord or watch YouTube to play. The technical information needed to deliver the site is still handled as described above.
A child, parent or carer can email us with a question or a request to review or delete personal information. We will ask only for the information needed to handle the request and, where necessary, check the requester's authority. No accounts or chat does not mean that technical information or optional analytics cannot be personal data.
Who can receive information
Our hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver the site and handle enquiries. Google receives analytics only when it is enabled, and YouTube receives information when its video is played. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim. We do not sell personal information. Providers may process data outside the UK; where we arrange a restricted transfer, an appropriate UK safeguard is required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using , or the demo's Analytics option, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email [email protected] to exercise your rights. Analytics identifiers may not tell us which records are yours; we will explain what we can locate and what limited information is needed for your request. We normally respond within one month, subject to the extensions allowed by law. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice and its date when the game's data handling changes. Significant changes to optional data use may require a new consent choice.
